Although the quick and simple way to explain their story is to say “they met in dental school,” technically, they did not. They met in a Dallas nightclub the weekend before dental school started. Taylor was dancing with her friend on the dance floor and Patrick slowly made his way toward her until they were eventually dancing together. They danced until the end of the night when Taylor’s friend grabbed her and said “our Uber is here!” And just like that, she darted off without giving Patrick a chance to exchange information with her. To both of their surprise, they reunited on the first day of school when Patrick locked eyes with her while walking through the lecture hall. Taylor awkwardly tried to avoid eye contact while thinking “oh my gosh, that’s the guy I danced with in the club the other night!” Somehow, in a class of over 100 people, they ended up in the same gross anatomy dissection group of 3 people, which allowed them to get to know each other during their first year of school. Patrick began giving Taylor nicknames to make his feelings known and the rest is history!

Fun fact: To this day, Patrick still remembers the exact outfit Taylor was wearing that night in the club.
